Megan Haughey Frey is the founder and Executive Director of The Literacy Project, Inc. Megan has traveled all over the world as a Global Village trip leader with Habitat for Humanity, and has seen firsthand the inequities that girls face today in the areas of education and athletics. Megan believes that the educational advancement of girls in the developing world is a key to fighting and ending poverty worldwide.

Megan was a Divison I basketball player at Lafayette College and is currently the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at DeSales University. At the age of 21, Megan became the youngest high school head coach in the state of NJ. Her passion in working with female athletes was the driving force behind creating the She.Play initiative and providing girls in the developing world a chance to play.

Megan is the founder of Educators Financial a firm dedicated to working with the financial needs of America's teachers. Megan has used her expertise in the area of finance to adopt a sustainable solution to financing the education of girls, through the use of the fixed product. A portion of the net profit from Educators Financial is donated directly to fund the projects of The Literacy Project, Inc.
